The Common Duiker is distributed in most of Africa south of the Sahara except in forested regions. See the map at the IUCN. They are found in savannas and woodlands where they eat mainly on leaves and shoots of bush plants and on seasonal fruits.
|The male has horns which are lacking in the female but the female is about 15% larger. The long face has a dark line in the middle of the face ending in a rounded black nose.|
