The Cuban Bullfinch is distributed only on Cuba and Grand Cayman Island. See the distribution map at xeno-canto. It is found in forest and woodland where it feeds on seeds, fruit and insects.

It has a large thick black bill and a white wing patch but is otherwise all black. The male is shinier black than the female with a larger white wing patch. I think the first two photos are of a male while the 3rd photo is of a female (though the relative dullness might just be due to the angle of the light).
