The Northern Mockingbird is distributed from southern Canada to southern Mexico and the West Indies. See the distribution map at xeno-canto. It is found in open areas with bushes including farmland, gardens and coastal areas.
It is grey above and whitish below with 2 wing-bars, a white wing patch and white edges to the tail. It feeds on insects and small fruits.
